Alex Leroy

Graduated from La Sorbonne University and the Reims Management School in international management and marketing, Alex Leroy started his professional career in South Korea working for COGEMA for two years. After three years in a consulting firm specialised in strategy and economic development based in Paris, he has worked for the Development Regional Agency of Haute-Normandie.

For four years, he was in charge of the International Department of FDI (fine chemicals, pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, and car industry). He also assisted regional SMEs in their export strategies in the USA and Japan.

In 2001, Alex Leroy created Innovation Development International Services, a consulting company specialized in Life Sciences and IT sectors. The Firm provides marketing and sales services to start-ups and to Economic Development Corporations.


Jean-marc Saffar
Dr. Saffar is the Founder and CEO of Consulting in Healthcare StrategieS, LLC (aka CHeSS), focusing on healthcare and life-sciences strategy and financial advisory work.

Prior to founding CHeSS, Dr. Saffar was a Vice-President at True North Capital / Partners, a life sciences consulting firm. At TNC/P, Dr. Saffar headed business development activities and completed numerous growth strategy projects for life-science firms. Prior to TNC/P, Dr. Saffar was Senior Manager at ATKearney Health Industries practice in the Boston office. Prior to ATKearney, he was a practicing internist, with a focus in oncology and intensive care.

He is a graduate of Harvard University - School of Public Health (MS), Ross Business School at University of Michigan (Exec. MBA), Paris-Dauphine School of Management & Amiens School of Medicine (Ph.D.), Paris West School of Medicine (MD), Paris-South School of Medicine (BS).


Nina Kodery - Sr. Business Analyst
Ms. Kodery joined CHeSS in 2007 and focuses her work in the development of primary and secondary proprietary research in different therapeutic areas, with a specific focus in women’s health and oncology In addition, Ms. Kodery has independently managed market entry strategy and business development projects for a medical device company and a European pharmaceutical company respectively.

Prior to joining CHeSS, Ms. Kodery focused her work in oncology. Ms. Kodery was a Clinical Research Associate [“CRA”] at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY. As a CRA, Ms. Kodery also managed and executed industrial clinical research protocols and assisted in the development, the launch and the implementation of new clinical trials.  Ms. Kodery also worked as a regulatory specialist for life-sciences companies across the nation.

Ms. Kodery is a graduate of Rutgers University (BS).


Christelle HENRY, PhD
Christelle Henry is Doctor in chemistry, specialised on environmental sciences. She has worked on water treatment with ozone for TRAILIGAZ and MESSER France (industrial gases). After one year working in the environmental regulation, she integrated the CRITT Chimie Environnement to be the REACH expert.

She has managed many SME’s on this regulation and helped them to be prepared for REACH implementation.
